New Delhi: Winter is about to start in many states of the country. Meteorologists say that this time many states are going to experience severe cold. In the past few days, the effect of Dana storm was seen in Odisha, West Bengal and Jharkhand and there was heavy rain. But now the weather has started changing.

The mild cold has started knocking in many states of North India including Delhi and UP. However, it may rain in some other states including Bihar and Jharkhand even today. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain in the southern states including Bihar and Jharkhand on Monday (28 October).

How will the weather be in Delhi?

The minimum temperature in Delhi today was recorded at 24.05 degrees Celsius. According to the Meteorological Department (IMD), the sky is likely to remain cloudy. The maximum temperature is expected to be 30.95 degrees Celsius.

Yesterday's minimum temperature in Delhi was recorded at 26.75 Celsius, while the maximum temperature was recorded at 35.12 Celsius. The humidity in the morning was recorded at 30%. Sunrise occurred at 06:30:20 and sunset will be at 17:39:17.

Mercury may fall in Delhi-UP

According to the Meteorological Department, severe cold will start in many states including Jharkhand, UP, Bihar by November 15. The mercury will start falling in Delhi as well. The minimum temperature will decrease. Cold may start increasing rapidly in the entire northern states.

The Meteorological Department has said that the minimum temperature in Delhi NCR can remain between 19 to 20 degrees till October 31. During this time, fog will also start to cover many areas.

It may rain in Bihar today

The effect of cyclone Dana is still visible in many states. The Meteorological Department says that some districts of Bihar may receive light rain today. The IMD has said that some areas will remain cloudy for the next two days and there is a possibility of light rain.

Monsoon departs from Uttarakhand

The weather has remained dry for the last few days in most areas including Doon. Due to which the heat remains during the day. However, coolness is felt in the morning and evening. The maximum and minimum temperatures in Doon remain above normal.

According to the Meteorological Department, there are chances of light rain in the hilly areas of the state today. Partial clouds may also hover over Doon and surrounding areas. Due to which there is a possibility of a drop in mercury and increase in cold.

October is about to end and after the departure of monsoon, rainfall has stopped in most of the areas. Although, there was rain in some places in the mountainous regions and snowfall on the peaks, but the weather has been dry for the last few days. There is bright sunshine in Doon as well. Due to which the temperature remains above normal. The cold has started increasing in the morning and evening.
