New Delhi. Weather Update: An orange alert was issued for rain in the national capital Delhi for the last two days, but Delhiites have not got relief from the humid heat. The weather department's forecast proved completely wrong for the fourth consecutive day on Tuesday in Delhi. The sky is cloudy in Delhi since morning even today i.e. Wednesday. IMD has predicted light to moderate rain for Delhi even today.

According to the Meteorological Department, apart from Delhi, light to moderate rains are expected in Northeast India, Bihar, Jharkhand, Gujarat, coastal Karnataka, Konkan and Goa, parts of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Andaman and Nicobar Islands with heavy rains at some places.

How will the weather be in Delhi today? 

The weather department has forecast that the weather will remain cloudy on Wednesday as well. There are chances of thunderstorms, lightning and moderate rainfall along with gusty winds blowing at a speed of 25 to 35 km per hour. The maximum and minimum temperatures may remain 35 and 28 degrees Celsius respectively.

The day temperature in Lucknow reached 32.3 degrees and the night temperature reached 27.5 degrees Celsius. At the same time, the rain will continue with cloud cover for the next few days. An alert has been issued for heavy rain in 35 districts on Wednesday and Thursday.
