Uttar Pradesh News Today: During the Parliament session, the statement of Samajwadi Party MP Avdhesh Prasad has become a topic of discussion. In this, while addressing the Parliament while sitting next to the SP national president, he told a leader of the opposition party that Madam, we made you the Chief Minister. After this statement of his, the members of Parliament laughed loudly.

Actually, on Tuesday (11 February), Samajwadi Party MP from Faizabad, Awadhesh Prasad stood up to speak in the House. During this time, SP chief and former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav was also sitting next to him. On this occasion, BJP MP from Dumariyaganj, Jagdambika Pal was presiding over the House.

As soon as Awadhesh Prasad stood up to speak, Jagdambika Pal from the chair said jokingly that today your leader is going to speak, you should speak the next day. On this, SP MP Awadhesh Prasad pointed towards the presiding Jagdambika Pal and said, "Sir, we made you the Chief Minister."

Why did Awadhesh Prasad say this?
There is a reason behind the SP MP saying this and it is true to a large extent. In 1998, BSP supremo Mayawati withdrew support from the BJP government led by Kalyan Singh. This led to the fall of Kalyan Singh's government and then with the help of MLAs from BSP, Bharatiya Kisan Kamgar Party, Janata Dal and Loktantrik Congress, Transport Minister Jagdambika Pal was declared the leader of the legislative party.

After this, Governor Romesh Bhandari took a dramatic decision and administered the oath of office to Jagdambika Pal as Chief Minister at night. Many stalwarts of the opposition party were present at the swearing-in ceremony. However, he could remain in the post of Chief Minister for only 39 hours. During this time, SP also supported Jagdambika Pal, while Avdhesh Prasad from SP was an MLA from Sohawal (SC) seat.

During his address in the House, Avadhesh Prasad made serious allegations against CM Yogi
and said, "With the blessings of Lord Shri Ram, Maa Saryu Mai, voters and my leader (Akhilesh Yadav), I won from Faizabad Lok Sabha seat, which is a general seat." He made allegations and said, "The Bharatiya Janata Party is not able to digest my victory from Faizabad." During this, he raised the issue of the recent brutal murder and rape of a Dalit girl in Ayodhya.

Targeting Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, MP Awadhesh Prasad said, "When the issue of violence and rape of the girl was raised, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh said that I am shedding crocodile tears. This is the dog's tail." After this statement of his, uproar started in the House.
