In the fourth phase of the Lok Sabha elections, voting is going on on 96 seats in 9 states and one union territory Jammu and Kashmir on Monday. Apart from this, voting is also being held on 175 assembly seats in Andhra Pradesh and 28 assembly seats in Odisha.

During the elections, three people have died in West Bengal, Bihar and Maharashtra due to different reasons. A TMC worker was killed a day before voting in Bolpur, West Bengal. TMC has accused CPI (M) supporters of the bomb blast. There has been a clash between BJP and TMC supporters in Durgapur.

A polling agent died of a heart attack before voting in Munger, Bihar. In Munger itself, some people pelted stones at security personnel accusing them of not giving slips during voting. Police resorted to lathicharge and detained two youths. A journalist of a news channel died of a heart attack in Beed, Maharashtra.

YSR Congress MLA Annabathuni Shivakumar from Guntur, Andhra Pradesh slapped a voter at a booth. In response, the voter also slapped him. After this, the MLA's supporters beat up the man. The man rebuked the MLA for not standing in the queue, which led to a dispute.

Another case of misbehavior with voters has come to light in Andhra Pradesh. Nagesh Shetkar, brother of Congress candidate from Zaheerabad Suresh Shetkar, kicked a voter. There was an argument between the two over something. After this, the voter's bike was dropped and when he went to pick it up, Shetkar kicked him.

52.60% voting on Lok Sabha seats till 3 PM
52.60% voting has been done on all Lok Sabha seats till 3 PM. The highest voting was 66.05% in West Bengal and the lowest was 29.93% in Jammu and Kashmir. Apart from this, 55.49% voting has been done in Andhra Pradesh Assembly elections and 52.91% voting has been done in the first phase of Odisha Assembly elections.
