The whole world is stunned by the two plane accidents that happened in the last week of 2024. Now a major plane accident was averted at the airport in Los Angeles, America.
This incident happened when a plane taking off from the airport came in front of another plane. Seeing both the planes coming close, the officials were left breathless for a while. Its video is also going viral on social media.
The plane was carrying the players
The incident happened at 4:20 p.m. on Friday. The Embraer E135 charter jet carrying the Gonzaga University men's basketball team had just landed from Washington and was about to park at the airport gate.
Just then a commercial flight of Delta Airlines started taking off from the other runway. To prevent the two planes from colliding with each other, the air traffic controller immediately asked the charter jet to stop. A voice came from the air traffic controller- stop, stop, stop.
Agencies are investigating
An airport spokesperson said the Embraer E135 was asked to wait for another flight to take off. He said the jet did not cross the runway edge line. However, the matter is now being investigated by agencies.
The airline video channel on YouTube is live streaming the planes taking off and landing at Los Angeles Airport. This video surfaced during this streaming. It also includes the line audio of the air traffic controller.
