Uttarakhand News: A huge crowd of tourists is expected to gather at Corbett National Park, Nainital and other tourist places in Uttarakhand for the New Year celebrations. In view of this, the police administration has prepared a special route diversion plan to improve traffic and security arrangements. This plan will be effective from 31 December 2024 to 1 January 2025. During this time, tourists coming from outside states will not be allowed to enter Kashipur.

Uttarakhand ASP Abhay Singh has prepared a route diversion plan. Under this, tourists coming from Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and other states will be sent to Nainital and Ramnagar from Doraha instead of Kashipur. From here tourists will be able to reach their destination via Bajpur. Vehicles coming from Delhi or other states will be diverted directly from the highway to Doraha. Local people coming from the highway will be allowed to enter the city only after police checking and entry of big vehicles into the city will be stopped.

ASP Abhay Singh made it clear that no tampering with law and order will be tolerated in the name of celebration. Police will be on alert mode on New Year's night. Strict action will be taken against those who create ruckus on the streets, those who drive after drinking alcohol and those who play DJ at high volume late at night. Police has instructed the hotel and restaurant operators of Ramnagar and Nainital not to allow any kind of disorderly event during the New Year celebrations. Strict action will be taken against those who play DJ at high volume or create ruckus after drinking alcohol.

ASP said that intensive checking campaign will be conducted from 31 December to 1 January. Police will take strict action against drunk drivers. Police force will be deployed to stop illegal parking of vehicles on the roadside. The main objective of the police administration is that tourists can reach their destination without any inconvenience and celebrate the New Year with peace and security. 

Tourists were warned not to create a ruckus.
Tourists coming from other states will be sent to Ramnagar and Nainital via Doraha via Bajpur. Special traffic management arrangements have been made to avoid traffic jams at places like Kashipur, Ramnagar and Nainital. ASP Abhay Singh has appealed to the local people and tourists to welcome the new year with discipline and enthusiasm. Do not do anything that will make you spend your celebration in jail. 

A large number of tourists are expected to visit Nainital and Jim Corbett on the occasion of New Year. In view of this, the police administration has already started its preparations. Guidelines have also been issued for tourists, in which they have been requested to follow environmental protection and park rules. 

The police and administration are fully prepared to make the New Year celebrations at major tourist destinations of Uttarakhand safe and orderly. The route diversion plan and security measures are aimed at providing convenience and safety to the tourists. Also, the administration has appealed to everyone to maintain peace and discipline so that the New Year celebrations can become a memorable experience.
