Uttarakhand Heavy Rain: The continuous torrential rain in various districts of Uttarakhand has increased the difficulties of the people. Due to heavy rains in areas like Tehri, Chamoli, Bageshwar and Pithoragarh, the water level of the rivers has increased. Due to which problems like land erosion and landslides are arising. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of heavy rain in many districts of the state till September 30, which may worsen the situation.

It has been raining heavily in Ghansali area of ​​Tehri district since late night, due to which the water level of the Dharmganga river has increased dangerously. Due to this, the Pokland machine engaged in opening the road near the river has got stuck in the middle of the river. Village head Sanoop Singh Rana of Budhakedar area said that continuous rain is going on in the area, due to which life has been affected. The Budhakedar-Pinswad motorway being built by the PMJSY department near the market has also been damaged by river erosion. Incidents of roads being washed away and land erosion on the river bank are increasing in the area, due to which the movement of people has come to a halt.

Life has been disrupted due to continuous rain
. In Chamoli district also, life has been disrupted due to continuous rain since last night. Badrinath highway has been blocked due to debris falling from the hill in Chatwapipal area. Due to which the passengers are facing a lot of trouble. At the same time, rain water entered a hotel located near Chatwapipal, causing damage to the hotel. Administration and relief teams are keeping an eye on the situation, but relief work is becoming difficult due to continuous rain.

Warning issued in Bageshwar and Pithoragarh
The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of heavy rain in Bageshwar and Pithoragarh districts. People in these districts have been appealed to remain alert and move to safer places. There is a possibility of landslides and blockage of roads, due to which the teams of the Disaster Management Department have been kept ready. 

There is a possibility of heavy rain in Dehradun, Haridwar and other districts. Due to rain, incidents of waterlogging and traffic disruption are being reported at many places in these districts. In view of the warning issued by the Meteorological Department, the administration has instructed all the concerned departments to remain alert and prepare to deal with the emergency.

The Uttarakhand government and the district administration have taken immediate steps to deal with the situations arising due to rain. Disaster management teams have been deployed in all sensitive areas and people are being advised to move to safer places. The administration is constantly monitoring the water level of the rivers and the situation of landslides.
