Basti News Today: The disgusting act of a junior engineer posted in the electricity department of Basti district of Uttar Pradesh has shocked everyone. The video of which is now becoming increasingly viral on social media. In this case, the police have registered a case under the sections of rape in Purani Basti police station. 

The accused JE has been posted by the electricity department to increase government revenue and junior engineers. However, the JE posted here is imposing his own policies. The accused sexually exploited a woman who had come to correct the electricity bill.

Ravindra Kumar, JE of the Electricity Department is posted at Gaukhor Electricity Sub-Centre in Basti. After seeing the victim, the accused's intentions became bad. The accused first checked the electricity meter and then offered a solution to reduce the electricity bill. 

When the victim woman asked the JE for a solution, he ignored the government scheme and presented his own plan. The victim was already aware of the misdeeds of the accused JE Ravindra Kumar, so she installed a camera in the corner of the house. Every act of the accused JE was captured on camera.

The victim woman said that JE Ravindra Kumar gave her something to drink after giving her an unconscious drug
and suggested to reduce the bill. The woman alleges that she became unconscious after drinking the drug given by the JE. After this, the JE not only raped her but also made a video of her and then he started blackmailing the woman.

To expose the accused JE, the victim also showed bravery and made a plan. Under this, the victim called the JE to her home and first installed a camera at the spot. After this, the accused started doing obscene acts as soon as he reached the victim's house, his actions were captured in the camera installed at the spot. As soon as this video surfaced, there was a stir in the government administration. 

Case registered against the accused
Deputy Superintendent of Police Satyendra Bhushan Tiwari said that he has received a complaint in this matter. An investigation was conducted and a case has been registered against JE Ravindra Kumar.

In this regard, when Chief Engineer of Electricity Department SK Saroj was talked to about the entire matter, he said that a departmental inquiry has been ordered in the entire matter. After the report comes, strict action will be taken against the JE.
