Washington. Joe Biden's Kamala Harris has now entered the US presidential election race. 81-year-old Biden has decided to withdraw from his candidature. Republican candidate Donald Trump has reacted to Kamala Harris contesting the election in place of Biden.
Trump said he thinks Vice President Kamala Harris will be easier to defeat than Biden. Trump added, "Crooked Joe Biden was not qualified to run for President, he certainly is not qualified to serve and never has been!"
Biden is the worst president in the history of the country: Trump
Former President Trump further said that Kamala Harris contesting as a presidential candidate is a joke like Biden. Donald Trump has described Biden as the 'worst president ever in the history of the country'.
Biden became president through fake news: Trump
Trump wrote on Truth Social, "Biden is not fit to be president. Everyone around him, including his doctors and the media, knew that he was not fit to be president. He got the post of president by lying and spreading fake news. If Vice President Kamala Harris becomes the candidate of the Democratic Party, then it will be easier for them to defeat her in the election."
Pressure is mounting on Biden to withdraw his candidacy
The election to be held on November 5 will elect the President for a period of four years starting from 2025. This is the first time since 1968 that an American President has withdrawn himself from the race for re-election. Earlier in 1968, President Lyndon Johnson had decided not to contest the elections again. Due to poor health and memory issues, pressure was mounting on Biden to give up his Democratic Party's candidature.
