Ayodhya.  Bihar's Deputy Chief Minister and BJP state president Samrat Chaudhary has broken his vow of almost two years. He shaved his hair in Ayodhya, took a bath in Saryu river, offered prayers to Ram Lalla and dedicated his turban (Muretha) to him. Many ministers of Bihar government, MLAs and state BJP officials have also reached there with him.

Bihar BJP state president Samrat Chaudhary had announced in September 2022 while tying a turban that he would topple the Mahagathbandhan government and remove Chief Minister Nitish Kumar from the post. Later the circumstances changed and in January this year, a JDU and BJP coalition government was formed under the leadership of Nitish Kumar. In this, Samrat Chaudhary has been made the Deputy Chief Minister.

After this, he announced to dedicate his Muretha at the feet of Ramlala. In this sequence, he reached Ramnagari late on Tuesday night. On Wednesday morning, he got his head shaved at Naya Ghat and took a bath in the Saryu river.


After this, he reached Ram temple about three kilometers away on foot and worshipped Ram Lalla. Bihar government's Scheduled Caste-Tribe Welfare Minister Janak Ram, Forest and Environment Minister Prem Kumar, PHED Minister Neeraj Singh Bablu, Sugarcane Industry Minister Krishna Nandan Paswan and Panchayati Raj Minister Kedar Gupta and State General Secretary BJP Jagannath Thakur and Rajesh Verma along with many MLAs were also present.

We will win more than 200 seats in the assembly elections

Talking to journalists, Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary said that in the assembly elections to be held in Bihar next year, the NDA alliance will win more than 200 out of 243 seats. In the Lok Sabha elections, the people of Bihar have made us win more than 75 percent of the seats.
