Milkipur Bypolls 2024: The Election Commission of India has announced a by-election on Tuesday. However, the political temperature has risen due to the non-announcement of a by-election on the Milkipur seat of Ayodhya. The commission said that the matter related to this seat is pending in the court, due to which there will be no by-election here. But after this announcement of the commission, now a new twist has come. 

Atul Kumar Dwivedi, lawyer of former BJP MLA Gorakhnath Baba, said that we will withdraw our petition. Talking to ABP News, Gorakhnath Baba said that I will withdraw my petition. Election Commission should conduct elections in Milkipur. However, by-elections have been announced on only nine seats so far and voting will take place on November 13.

Temple is still incomplete- MP
On this issue, SP MP Awadhesh Prasad spoke to ABP News in which he said that nobody can imagine. Modi ji claimed that he has brought Shri Ram while the temple is still incomplete. Therefore, this seat is very important and people have not forgotten. Aditya ji, Yogi Baba were made in-charge of this seat while UP is such a big state.

The MP said that Yogi Baba goes around the country as a star campaigner but here he has been made in-charge of only one assembly constituency. I don't know why Yogi Baba's stature has been reduced so much? He has been holding meetings here continuously. More than a dozen of his ministers have been here for 2 months. SP is winning from here. Ajit Prasad will win this seat with a huge margin of votes.
 

Congress' reaction
On the announcement of Uttar Pradesh by-election, Uttar Pradesh Congress President Ajay Rai said, "As we are hearing, (the by-election on Milkipur seat) has been put on hold because an election petition has been filed, but it should have been resolved earlier and the elections should have been held on time."

Ajay Rai said that I think they (BJP) are losing the election, so they have tried to manipulate it in their own way. INDIA alliance will contest the election together, win all the 9 seats and defeat BJP badly. By-elections have been announced on other 9 seats of UP.
