During the interview, Prime Minister Narendra Modi discussed his strong relationship with US President Donald Trump. When asked what he likes about Trump as a friend and leader, PM Modi mentioned an old incident in response to this question.

He mentioned the 'Howdy Modi' program held in Houston, America. He said, "President Trump and I were present there. The entire stadium was full of people. The gathering of so many people at one place was a big event for America. When I was giving the speech, President Trump was listening to my speech sitting on a chair in the stadium. This is his greatness."
The Russia-Ukraine conflict will be resolved only when both sides hold talks
Prime Minister Modi has said that the Russia-Ukraine conflict can never be resolved on the battlefield. It will be resolved only when both sides sit at the negotiating table. Modi clarified that India is not neutral in this conflict, but is firmly committed to peace. Highlighting his good relations with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, Modi said that he can urge Russia that war is not the solution.
At the same time, he can remind Ukraine that solutions never come from the battlefield. He said, I have equally close relations with Russia and Ukraine. I can sit with President Putin and say that this is not the time for war. And I can also tell President Zelensky in a friendly manner that brother, no matter how many people in the world stand with you, no solution will ever come from the battlefield.
