There was an incident of molestation of two girls in Bengaluru on 4 April. CCTV camera showed that a young man comes to two girls and forcefully pushes one of them against the wall, then runs away from there. Karnataka Home Minister G Parameshwara has said something on this incident, which has created a ruckus.

Karnataka minister's harsh words

In fact, when Karnataka Home Minister G. Parameshwara was questioned in the case, he said, "Such incidents happen frequently in big cities. Whatever legal action is to be taken, it will be done according to the law. I have also instructed my commissioner to increase beat patrolling." His statement is being severely criticized, because people are considering it as taking the crime lightly.

The BJP has targeted the Siddaramaiah government over the incident. The opposition party has said that the viral video has exposed the reality of the law and order situation in the city and claimed that Bengaluru is becoming "increasingly unsafe" for women.

The entire incident was captured on CCTV

This incident took place in Bharati Layout on the night of April 4 at around 1.52 am. After this incident, both the girls are seen crying and screaming. The entire heartbreaking incident was captured in the CCTV camera. It can be clearly seen in it that an unknown person sexually assaulted a girl walking on the road. The accused managed to escape from the spot immediately after the incident. CCTV shows that a man is seen approaching two girls in a narrow lane in the BTM Layout area. The road is deserted and many two-wheelers are parked on one side of the road. The man comes to the two girls from behind and is seen touching one of the girls.

Regarding this, Bengaluru Police said that the case is still under investigation. The culprits will be caught soon. However, the victim has not yet filed a complaint.
