New Delhi. Weather Update: The month of April has started from today and the heat is such that it reminds us of the months of May and June. The feeling of heat has started increasing rapidly throughout North India. From Delhi to UP and Bihar, the sun has now started scorching people. While there is a slight coolness in the weather due to the wind blowing in the evening, the temperature starts increasing as the day progresses. Rain is going to curb the rising heat. It has been predicted. 

According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), there is a possibility of rain along with thunderstorms in the next 24 hours in North-West India. At the same time, there may be rain at different places in the western Himalayan region in the next 24 hours. There is a possibility of heavy rain in most of the states of North-East India including Arunachal Pradesh on 1st April i.e. today. There is also a possibility of storm and lightning during this period.

How will be the weather in Delhi? 

The weather patterns seem to be changing in Delhi also. On Sunday, amidst the movement of clouds, there was bright sunshine throughout the day. The wind blew, but the heat did not subside. The weather department has predicted that it will be partly cloudy on Monday. Strong gusty wind will blow at a speed of 30 to 40 km per hour. The maximum and minimum temperatures can be 34 and 20 degrees respectively.

It will rain in these districts of Bihar 

According to IMD, the weather will remain dry for four days and people will be troubled by the heat due to an increase in temperature by two to four degrees. Meteorological Center Patna has issued a yellow alert regarding light rain, thunder, and lightning in the and Gaya, Kaimur, Rohtas, Aurangabad districts for 24 hours. It has been advised to stay in safe places due to thunder and lightning.

It will rain in these places during the next 24 hours

IMD has predicted that during the next 24 hours, light to moderate rain and snowfall with lightning may occur over Arunachal Pradesh and Sikkim. At the same time, there may be light to moderate rain in Assam, Meghalaya, and Arunachal Pradesh along with heavy rain in some places. Apart from this, light to moderate rainfall with thunder and lightning may occur over East Madhya Pradesh, Central Maharashtra, Marathwada, Vidarbha, and Chhattisgarh.
