The temperature will drop further

Due to snowfall in the mountains, the national capital Delhi and NCR are likely to experience even more severe cold. IMD said that the cold wave will continue in Delhi-NCR for the next two-three days. This will lead to a drop in temperature and severe cold.

According to IMD, the minimum temperature is expected to be around 5 degrees Celsius on Sunday (December 15). The maximum temperature can remain up to 21 degrees Celsius. The sky will be clear during the day. Cold winds will blow along with bright sunshine. According to the Meteorological Department, the minimum temperature in Delhi on Monday is expected to be 6 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature is expected to be 21 degrees Celsius. The weather will remain clear in Delhi-NCR on Monday as well. Cold wave will blow along with bright sunshine during the day. 

Cold wave alert in these states

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast cold wave in many parts of the country for the next week. The IMD said that in the coming days, cold wave is likely to prevail in Rajasthan, eastern Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana and Punjab from December 19 to December 25. 

Temperature will fall in many parts of Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh

According to IMD, the minimum temperature may be 5 degrees Celsius or even less at isolated places in Rajasthan. Minimum temperatures may go up to 7 to 5 degrees Celsius above normal at some places in eastern Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh.

The cold will remain the same next week as well

The Meteorological Department said that there will be no change in the forecast minimum temperature during the 19-25th week of December. However, the IMD said in its latest bulletin that the minimum temperature is expected to remain below 10 degrees Celsius in most parts of northwest, central and eastern India.
