Agra Water Crisis: There has been an outcry over water in the Taj city of Agra for the last several days, there is a huge shortage of water. Due to which people are facing a lot of problems. The Jal Kal department is appealing that water will be supplied in less quantity, store water as per your requirement, do not waste water.
Water supply has been affected in Agra for the last several days, due to which there is a situation of chaos regarding water. There is also anger among the people due to not getting water as per their requirement. To fulfill the need of water, people are taking help of private water tankers so that the need of water can be fulfilled.

Ganga water is supplied to Agra city but the supply is getting affected due to the breakage of the head regulator gate at Palda Fall. Right now Ganga water will be supplied in less quantity, the effect of which is visible on the common people. Since morning people are trying to fulfill their water needs, due to which their other works are getting affected. They are waiting for private water tankers with empty buckets and other equipment. People are facing problems due to lack of water supply in Agra city. There is a shortage of water even for household work.

In-charge Manager of Jalkal Department Anirudh Bharti said that Agra gets Gangajal from Palda Fall which has been disrupted due to the gate being broken. This morning 18 MLD water was received, now less Gangajal is being received, it takes 22 to 23 hours for Gangajal to reach Sikandra in Agra from Palda Fall, by this evening we will store 300 MLD water and start the supply. Repair work is going on, water supply will be streamlined.
