Hardly any filmmaker in Bollywood can reach that level in the grand style in which Sanjay Leela Bhansali has consistently shown period drama stories on screen. And this is confirmed once again by the trailer of his first OTT show 'Hiramandi'.

When it was announced that Bhansali was bringing a web series in collaboration with the big OTT platform Netflix, the public's expectations had increased. Every promotional material released so far from 'Hiramandi' kept promising the audience that Bhansali, who brings powerful stories prepared with grand sets, spectacular getups, and serious acting of the actors on the big screen, is coming with another 'masterpiece'. Are. After watching the trailer of 'Hiramandi' you will also say that Bhansali has once again brought magic to the screen.

When Bhansali announced 'Hiramandi', the story of courtesans bound in chains during the freedom struggle, he had used the line - 'Where courtesans were queens'. This time all the main female characters of Bhansali are courtesans. Hiramandi is the name of an area in pre-partition Lahore which was known for its courtesans during the Mughal era.

Actresses like Sonakshi Sinha, Manisha Koirala, Aditi Rao Hydari, Richa Chadha, Sharmin Sehgal, and Sanjeeda Sheikh are playing the roles of courtesans in the show. This story is from the period when India was at the stage of its fight for independence. The fight of Indians against the British Raj is about to be successful.

One country is going to be divided into two parts. But these courtesans, who live at the mercy of powerful people, are going to be divided into so many parts that perhaps no one can even count them. And in such a situation, these women, who have been living life in a royal style, have to fight a battle to save their existence. Watch the trailer of 'Hiramandi' here:

It is clear in the trailer that Hiramandi is going to be a tremendous series. In this, you see Manisha Koirala as Mallikajaan ruling over everyone. Mallikajan's coin circulates in Hiramandi. The fate of the women of the entire Hiramandi is under his thumb. But Faridaan (Sonakshi Sinha) has crossed his wall. On one hand, there is a fight going on between these two, on the other hand, the courtesans have a different story with the Nawabs. Meanwhile, they also have to save themselves from the British.

When is 'Hiramandi' releasing?
Bhansali has directed this 'magnum opus' along with Mitakshara Kumar and Snehil Dixit Mehra. The music of the show has already become quite popular. Two songs of 'Hiramandi', 'Sakal Ban' and 'Tilismi Baahen' based on raga have been released and the public has liked them a lot.

It is very difficult for every cinema fan to wait to see the work of the actors, the story, and the beautiful way Bhansali has created the life and legacy of that era in the trailer of 'Hiramandi'. But this wait is not too long now, because 'Hiramandi' will stream on Netflix from May 1.
