Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh has been in the news for the past few days. Ever since his concert Dil Luminati India was announced, its tickets were sold out within minutes. The price of tickets for the Punjabi singer's concert started from Rs 1500 and were sold for up to Rs 20000, about which some people expressed their displeasure, while some said that Diljit is at the peak of his career these days and he deserves this. Diljit is also known for keeping his personal life and family hidden from the audience. But now Diljit has introduced his family to the world for the first time. Diljit is currently performing in the UK for his Dil Luminati tour, during this music concert he introduced his mother and sister to the fans in Manchester on Saturday.

Diljit did this work after many years

For many years, the singer has been keeping his family away from the world. Although he mentioned them at the beginning of the year, he still kept their identity a secret. But it seems that finally, Diljit is ready to tell the world about them. During his concert in Manchester, the singer suddenly bowed in front of a woman and then hugged her. Then holding her hand, he said- 'She is my mother.' When Diljit hugged his mother, her eyes also filled with tears. After this, he bowed in front of another woman, held her hand and then said- 'She is my sister, my family has come here today.'

Those who remember the lyrics of Diljit's song 'Hass Hass' will now know the real reason behind it. Singing the lines of the song, "Dil tenu de ditta mein taan soneya, jaan tere kadam cha rakhi hoi aye," and introducing his mother Sukhwinder Kaur to the world, his video is making rounds on social media.

Diljit Dosanjh stayed with his maternal uncle

Diljit had revealed earlier this year that his parents had handed him over to his maternal uncle, due to which he was angry with his parents for a long time. Talking on Ranveer Allahabadia's podcast, Diljit said, "I was eleven years old when I left my house and started living with my mamaji (maternal uncle)." "I left my city and moved to the metropolis. I moved to Ludhiana. When they asked my parents to send him to the city with me, they replied, "Yes, take him," even my parents did not ask me."
