Rajan Shahi issued a statement 

In his statement, Rajan Shahi said, we have been entertaining TV viewers for the last 18 years. Our popular serials include Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Vidai, Anupama. These serials have received a lot of love from people not only in the country but also abroad. More than 300 professionals helped us to bring smiles on the faces of millions of people. Without their help, this would not have been possible at all.

What was the reason for the death of the camera assistant

Regarding the death of the crew member, he wrote in the statement that an unfortunate incident happened on the set of the TV serial Anupama on November 14. Actually, Ajit Kumar, a camera attendant sent by the vendor on a set of Film City, mistakenly picked up the light rod while lifting the camera. Due to this, Ajit Kumar got an electric shock. It has also been clarified in the statement that the camera man was not wearing slippers while lifting the light rod. Also, he did not have gloves on his hands.

The DOP present on the set also confirmed that it was a human error. Ajith Kumar was rushed to the hospital immediately after the incident, but unfortunately, we lost him.

Compensation given to the family

The producer of Anupama serial also informed in the statement that the medical expenses of the crew member have been covered by them. Also, the production house has also given compensation to the family. The family has also expressed gratitude to the production house for the compensation money. Rajan Shahi has also made it clear that all the working members are taken full care of by his production house.
