Every year thousands of tourists visit Nainital on New Year. Tourists start booking hotels a month in advance. This year, to attract tourists on New Year, the Nainital Hotel Association will decorate the Mall Road situated on the lake shore with lights and heaters will also be installed on the Mall Road to protect tourists from the cold. In Nainital, the temperature sometimes goes down to -1 Celsius on the night of 31st, so this year the Hotel Association has made this special arrangement.

Talking to the media, Digvijay Singh, President of Hotel Association Nainital, said that every year on the occasion of New Year, thousands of tourists from the country and the world come here to celebrate New Year. Therefore, this year, the Hotel Association decorated the Mall Road with lights, arranged for music and also arranged for heaters to protect the tourists from the cold.

He said that the hotels have been getting bookings for New Year since the last few months, and this month a large number of tourists have booked hotels. A list of hotel numbers and names has been put up at the entry point for the tourists coming to Nainital. Tourists can be saved from fraudsters.

Parking facility will be available for tourists in the hotel

SSP of Nainital district Prahlad Narayan Meena said that a large number of tourists arrive to visit Nainital on 31st. On this day, only those tourists whose hotels have parking facility will be allowed to come. Apart from this, the tourists who come with their private vehicles will be given road outside Narayannagar parking and Khurpatal bypass. From here they will be sent to Nainital through shuttle. Along with this, shuttle is run from Masjid Tiraha for tourists going to Bhimtal, Bhawali and Kainchi Dham, this arrangement will be continued this time also.
