New Delhi. Mangoes of our country are famous all over the world. Mangoes of our country are sent to many countries for trade. Indian mangoes are also in great demand in the European markets. Indo-German Corporation has started a pilot project with the farmers of Lucknow this year through FPO. The first consignment of mangoes from North India has reached the markets of Europe.

Indian mangoes are reaching European markets

German Ambassador Philip Ackermann expressed happiness over the arrival of Indian mangoes in Europe. He said that everyone knows that the people of Europe like Indian mangoes a lot. We are happy with the arrival of Indian mangoes in European supermarkets.

Agricultural cooperation between the two countries will increase  

He further said that the introduction of different varieties of North Indian mangoes in the Belgian markets is an important step towards diversifying European mango imports. He hoped that this initiative would lead to wider agricultural cooperation and increased trade opportunities between India and Germany.

Philip Ackermann further added that I believe the time has come for India to reach the common European stores.
