There is a plan to include at least one-third of the districts of each state in these. The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment has held several rounds of meetings with Delhi AIIMS. It is believed that this campaign to identify people trapped in the clutches of drug addiction will start at the beginning of the new year i.e. 2025.

Seven crore people are seriously suffering from drug addiction
The ministry claims that about seven crore people were found to be seriously suffering from drug addiction. After this, in the campaign launched in 2020-21 to save them from serious drug addiction, it has been claimed that 27 lakh people have been rescued so far.
The ministry claims that the rest of the people who are seriously addicted to drugs are also under their surveillance. Work is being done on them. At present, the ministry, encouraged by this initiative, has now planned a fresh survey in four hundred districts of the country to identify the people seriously addicted to drugs. These will include districts of all states and union territories.
