An incident has come to light from Chennai which has shocked people. Here a traffic policeman raped a 13-year-old girl by luring her to help her.
The girl has also accused her boyfriend of raping her. The police have arrested the accused traffic policeman and the boyfriend in the case.
Teenager ran away from home
The incident is from Mylapore in Chennai. Here a 13-year-old girl ran away from her home. The girl's mother had lodged a missing complaint with the police. When the police investigating the case tracked her location, she was found with her boyfriend.
The police reached there after tracking him. The girl told the police that her boyfriend raped her on the pretext of marrying her. The accused boyfriend is 16 years old.
Traffic policeman also accused
- During investigation, the police found out that apart from the boyfriend, the traffic policeman had also raped the girl. According to the report, on the night of 25 January, the girl had gone to her brother's house from her house. She went straight to her boyfriend's house. But the boy's mother refused to keep her.
- After this, she was roaming around in Mylapore. Later, she slept on the footpath. A traffic policeman passing by lured her to drop her home. After this, the accused Raman took her in the car and raped her.

After this, he took her to the police booth, where he raped the girl again. When the girl started screaming loudly, he left her and ran away.
Later, fearing that her mother would get her married to someone else, she ran away again and started living with her boyfriend at his relative's house. The police have registered a case against both of them under POCSO.
