A few days ago, cyclone Helen caused massive destruction in big cities like Florida in America. Now, tropical storm Sarah is reaching Central America. Due to this storm, there is a possibility of devastating floods, rain and landslides. This storm will hit the coast of northern Honduras. Sarah is blowing with maximum winds of 40 miles per hour.
Earlier forecasts from the National Hurricane Center had asked residents of the eastern Gulf of Mexico to monitor the possibility of the hurricane reaching the U.S., but the center now believes the storm will slow down significantly before reaching Central America and Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula.
Sarah is the 18th named storm of the 2024 Atlantic hurricane season. Tropical activity should subside in November, but Sarah is now the third named storm of the month due to exceptionally warm waters caused by climate change.

Tropical storm warnings have been issued for parts of Honduras and Nicaragua. Stormy rains began in both countries on Thursday and strong winds will arrive in the evening and intensify on Friday.
According to the National Hurricane Center, the storm will produce heavy rainfall with strong winds and devastating floods and landslides. Parts of northern Honduras could receive up to 30 inches of rain. Other parts of Central America, from eastern Mexico to Nicaragua, could receive up to 15 inches of rain from Sarah. Mostly, parts of the Caribbean and Central America have suffered heavy damage from November storms.
