Indian-origin people living in America protested against the attacks on Hindus in Canada and Bangladesh. Indian-origin people took out a solidarity rally in Silicon Valley in their support. A large number of Indian-origin people gathered at Milpitas City Hall.

The Indian-origin people said that we have seen videos in which Khalistani terrorists are seen entering the temple premises and attacking women, men and children.

 

Pain expressed over violence against Hindus

We saw that the police stood in support of Khalistan supporters and were beating up Hindu devotees. Freedom of violence is being disguised as freedom of expression in Canada. We have lost complete confidence in the Trudeau government in protecting the basic human rights of Canadian-Hindus.

 

Hindu Student Council meeting in Canada

The Hindu Student Council (HSC) Canada organized a meet-and-greet session at OCAD University Toronto, where Hindu student leaders from various campuses shared their experiences and challenges. On Sunday evening, HSC members gathered with Hindu student leaders from the Hindu Coalition of North America (COHNA) and the Hindu Forum of Canada.

 

During the event, students shared their challenges in terms of facing Hinduphobia and shared their struggles and achievements in establishing their rightful place in the world of academia. Hindu student leaders from various campuses also expressed their concerns about the negative stereotypes created due to the strained relations between India and Canada. After the event, students also chanted 'Jai Shri Ram' in their puja room.
