A big protest is going to be organized by Hindu organizations on Wednesday against Shimla Mosque in Himachal Pradesh.

A massive agitation is going to take place in Sanjauli area of ​​Shimla, the capital of Himachal Pradesh, against illegal construction in the mosque and people coming from outside states without verification.

Hindu organizations have called for gathering at Sanjauli Chowk on September 11 at 11 am. Before this, security arrangements have been tightened here.

More than a thousand police personnel have been deployed in the area. These police personnel will ensure security here.

Late Tuesday night, Deputy Commissioner of Shimla district Anupam Kashyap and Superintendent of Police of Shimla district Sanjeev Gandhi reached the spot and took stock of the security arrangements. During this, the police personnel also marched here.

District Magistrate Anupam Kashyap said that the order has been given in Sanjauli using the powers conferred under Section 163 of the Indian Civil Defense Code- 2023.

Under this, in order to maintain law and order and peace in Sanjauli area of ​​the district, there will be a complete ban on gathering of five or more people.

District Shimla Superintendent of Police Sanjeev Gandhi said that more than one thousand soldiers will be deployed here for security arrangements. He said that the police will ensure law and order here.

District Magistrate Anupam Kashyap said that there will be a complete ban on any person carrying firearms, sticks, spears, axes, bicycle chains, Gandasa, javelins, swords, etc. and other inflammable substances.

This order will be in force from 7 am on September 11 till 11:59 pm. District Magistrate Anupam Kashyap said that normal life will remain completely normal in Sanjauli. Schools and government and private offices along with markets will remain completely open.

Anupam Kashyap said that the general public will not have to face any kind of problems. Apart from this, there will be a ban on the use of loudspeakers in hospitals, courts, educational institutions and public places. During this time, communal, anti-national or anti-state speeches, slogans, wall writings and posters have also been banned.

This order will continue from Navbahar Chowk to Eastern Portal of Dhali Tunnel, IGMC to Sanjauli Chowk, Sanjauli Chowk to Chalonthi, Dhali (via Sanjauli Chalonthi Junction) from 7 am to 11.59 pm on 11 September 2024.
