Every year, Sharadiya Navratri begins from the Pratipada date of Shukla Paksha of Ashwin month, which ends on the Navami date. Shardiya Navratri 2024 Date (Shardiya Navratri 2024 Start Date)

According to the Panchang, the Pratipada date of Shukla Paksha of Ashwin month will start from 12:18 pm on October 03 (Durga Utsav Start Date). At the same time, it will end on October 04 at 02:58 am. In such a situation, Shardiya Navratri (Shardiya Navratri 2024) will start from October 03. At the same time, it will end on October 11. The festival of Dussehra will be celebrated on the next day i.e. October 12.

Auspicious yogas are being formed

According to the Panchang, Sarvarth Siddhi and Ravi Yoga are being formed from 05 to 08 October in Sharadiya Navratri. After this, both these yogas are being formed on 11 and 12 October as well. It is a religious belief that worshiping and shopping in these auspicious yogas will prove to be fruitful.

Panchami date will remain for two days  

In Sharadiya Navratri, Panchami Tithi will be on 07 and 08 October. Whereas, Ashtami and Navami Tithi are on 11 October.  

This is how Maa Durga will arrive

There is a religious belief that this time in Sharadiya Navratri, Maa Durga will come riding on a palanquin. The arrival of Mata Rani on a palanquin is not considered auspicious.
