UP News: District Sambhal's DM Rajendra Pansia visited the villages of development block Bahjoi on Tuesday and went to the field himself and harvested the wheat crop. This visit was done under the process of crop cutting, so that the crop productivity data sent to the government is accurate and real.
The DM got the wheat crop standing in the fields removed and evaluated its yield on the basis of scientific standards. In the presence of officials, crop cutting was done by taking samples from the fields, so that an accurate report of the average productivity of wheat in the district could be prepared this time. This information will be sent to the state government, which will later become the basis for many important decisions like relief to farmers, insurance claims and crop pricing.
It is worth noting that crop cutting is a scientific process, through which the average yield of a particular crop in an area is estimated. This work is done in every season under the supervision of the agriculture department and administrative team of the districts. This effort of DM Rajendra Pansia was also commendable because instead of just asking for reports from the officials, he himself went to the field and saw the condition of the crop and also communicated directly with the farmers. This increased the trust of the villagers and sent a positive message towards the administration.
DM also taught children in school
After the field inspection, the DM also conducted a surprise inspection of two government schools. During the inspection, the DM called the children to the blackboard and taught them and talked to the teachers about the quality of teaching. Seeing the broken walls of the school, he also gave instructions to immediately build the boundary wall of the school.
Villagers and teachers appreciated the DM's activism and sensitivity. This visit to Bahjoi block proved that when administrative officers themselves come to know the ground reality, then the change starts from there.
