The holy month of Ramzan, the diversity of Indian culture and the rich traditions of Kashmir, all together create an atmosphere which is rarely seen in any corner of the world. When Sehri begins with the morning Azan and the fast is completed with the joy of Iftaar in the evening, then not only worship is done but a new chapter of brotherhood is also written in the society.

Firdous Baba (Founder President, Kashmir Seva Sangh) explains that in India, where every religion, every tradition and every festival mingle with each other, Ramadan is not just a religious ritual but also a symbol of unity and harmony.

The splendour of mosques during Ramadan

This is the soul of this country. Kashmir, which was once called paradise, is now returning to that status again. There was a time when the valley used to make headlines only for political debates and news of tension, but today a new wind of change is blowing here.

The splendor of mosques and the bustle of markets have returned in Ramadan . People of every religion are participating in Sehri-Iftar events. This is proof that Kashmir is not only an integral part of India, but is also a shining star of its cultural heritage.

When will Eid-ul-Fitr be celebrated? ( When is Eid Ul Fitr 2025?)

The date of Eid is decided on the basis of the moon seen after the end of Ramadan. Therefore, after the sighting of the moon, the correct date of Eid is decided by Islamic scholars and religious institutions. Let us tell you that this year Ramadan started in India from March 2, which lasts for 29 or 30 days.
