Ramadan started in India from 02 March 2025. This month is considered very sacred in Islam, which comes after 11 months according to the Islamic calendar. This month is not only special for fasting, but it also gives many lessons to the person. So let us know the thoughts of Maulana Irfan Mian Farangi Mahali (Qazi-e-Shahar) on this occasion.

Allah's blessings are granted

In the month of Ramzan, millions of Muslims around the world stay hungry and thirsty all day and worship Allah. By fasting (Roza), a person understands the pain of hungry and thirsty people. Ramzan is the month to understand their pain. By praying in this month, one gets many times more blessings from Allah than in any other month. Every Muslim respects this month.

what is the purpose of ramadan

The purpose of Ramadan is that when a wealthy person who has never experienced hunger and thirst, observes fast in Ramadan, he will feel hunger and thirst. When he feels hunger and thirst, he will understand the pain of the poor, the helpless and the hungry. That is why Islam has ordered to give Fitra after observing fast in Ramadan. The poor does not go to the house of a rich person to collect it.

why roza is kept

The order to give Fitra after fasting has been given so that the rich can be shown the door to the poor so that they can keep helping them, this is the message of Ramadan and Islam. After 11 months, there comes a month of Ramadan in which the believer keeps fast to please his God and to follow his instructions.

when will eid be celebrated

The festival of Eid depends on when the crescent moon is visible. In such a situation, Eid-ul-Fitr is likely to be celebrated on 31 March or 1 April in the year 2025. The fast of Ramadan i.e. Roza ends on the day of Eid-ul-Fitr, that is, the day the fast is broken. This day is celebrated very specially and people hug each other and wish Eid Mubarak.
