
Manjinder Singh Sirsa: The Delhi government launched various development projects at a cost of Rs 1.5 crore in Rajouri Garden assembly constituency. Environment, Food Supply and Industry Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa laid the foundation stone of water supply, sewer improvement and road redevelopment works and said that the dream of developed Delhi will be realized only when the infrastructure is strong.
There will be relief from water crisis, sewer system will be improved
Under the project, new water pipelines will be laid on the main road of Sant Nagar Extension (Gali No. 5) and Shyam Nagar Extension at a cost of Rs 30 lakh. This will ensure supply of clean and safe drinking water to the local residents and eliminate the problem of contaminated water.
Apart from this, redevelopment work of sewer line was started in Vishnu Garden and T.C. Camp at a cost of Rs 82 lakh. The minister said that this will provide relief from the problem of waterlogging and dirt, which will improve the cleanliness and health condition of the area.
Roads will be rejuvenated, traffic will be smooth
Manjinder Singh Sirsa inaugurated road improvement work at a cost of Rs 28 lakh in various parts of Ward No. 96. Under this, roads will be improved in many lanes of Titarpur, D-Block Extension, Tagore Garden and Rajouri Garden. He said that the repair of these roads will not only provide better connectivity to the people but will also solve the problem of drainage.
The government is fulfilling the demands of the people
On this occasion, Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa said, “This is not just construction work, but a step towards fulfilling the long-standing demands of the public. Every street, every road, every pipeline is a part of our resolution of 'Developed Delhi'. Clean water and better sewer system is not a luxury, but the right of every citizen, which we are ensuring.”
He interacted with the local residents and listened to their problems and assured them that the government will soon solve all the problems related to electricity, water, sewer and roads. He said, "I am always available for the people of my area. If there is any problem, people should feel free to contact me. Together we will make our area better."
Minister Sirsa said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, the Delhi government is committed to strengthen the infrastructure in every corner of the city. He said that the government is continuously working to make the city clean, modern and livable. The aim of the Delhi government is to provide every citizen with a clean and convenient environment, so that their life can be better.
