Pratapgarh: A heart wrenching case has come to light from Pratapgarh in Uttar Pradesh. Where a husband killed his wife by poisoning her due to an affair. The incident happened around 10 pm on Sunday night. The accused mixed poison in the medicine given to his wife. Police have registered a case of murder on the complaint of the deceased's brother. Police said that the matter is being investigated. 

This incident is from Saraiya Praveshpur of Hathigwan police station area of ​​Kunda where Praveen Pandey, a resident of the village, was married to Sannu Devi of Ahibharanpur village in the same police station area in 2017. They have two children. The son is 4 years old and the daughter is 5 years old. Praveen was having an affair with someone due to which there were frequent disputes between the husband and wife. On Sunday, the accused husband mixed poison in the medicine and made his wife drink it. 

To reassure his wife, he gave some medicine to his mother as well. Meanwhile, when both of them became ill, he left his wife and took his mother to the hospital. While he informed his wife's brother about her health. When Sannu's brother Neeraj Mishra reached there, he took him to the hospital. But by then it was too late. Sannu died during treatment. 

Neeraj Mishra said that when he took his sister to Prayagraj, she was conscious and she told him that her husband Praveen had brought iron syrup from Kaushambi. Poison was already mixed in it. To gain her trust, he gave a little of that medicine
to his mother as well, after that, he gave her four spoons of it. According to Neeraj, when the condition of both started deteriorating, Praveen took his mother first. Because of which his mother's life was saved. 

Neeraj Mishra said that the accused Praveen Pandey used to teach coaching before working in a courier company. During this time, he came in contact with a girl named Muskan from Kunda. Earlier, he used to tie Rakhi to her considering her as his sister. But then both of them got into a live-in relationship. Because of that, he killed his wife by giving her poison. People from his wife's side openly said that Praveen wanted to get rid of his mother and wife so that he could do whatever he wanted.
