Bahraich Violence: Uttar Pradesh Police's action in the Bahraich violence case is continuing. The noose is tightening on the accused involved in the violence. Sarfaraz, the main accused in the murder of Ram Gopal Mishra, was shot in the leg in a police encounter. Along with him, his brother Talib was also shot in the leg during the recovery of arms. His father and other brother have also been arrested by the police.
In this case, the Public Works Department (PWD) had pasted notices on the houses of 23 people including the main accused on 18 October. In which, the PWD's rural road standards were stated to leave a distance of 60 feet on one side from the middle of the road and action was also said to be taken if this distance is not left and if the papers are not provided. Fearing this action, the people who were in the house started demolishing their houses. In which some bricks were taken out by breaking the railing of the roof.
The court gave 15 days time.
Apart from this, people have also removed the shutters of the shops on which notices were pasted, so that at least they can save something. However, during this time, before the bulldozer action, the people of the aggrieved party went to the court. The hearing of which took place in the Lucknow Bench of Allahabad High Court and the court gave them 15 days to show their papers and file a reply. The next hearing of this case will be held after three days on Wednesday.
