It is said that Shradh of the maternal side is performed on Navami Tithi.

Sarvapitri Amavasya

According to religious beliefs, the day of Sarvapitre Amavasya is considered very important. During this (Pitru Paksha Shraddha), the shraddha of those ancestors is performed whose date is not known.
