On Sawan Shivratri, the time of Bhadra will be from 5:37 am to 3:31 pm. In such a situation, you can do Jalabhishek of Lord Shiva in Brahma Muhurta on Shivratri.

- Night Prahar Puja Time - from 7:17 PM to 9:53 PM
- Night second prahar puja time - from 9:53 pm to 12:28 pm

- Night fourth prahar puja time - from 3:03 am to 5:38 am on 24th July
Method of worship of Lord Shiva
- Get up early in the morning, take a bath and wear clean clothes.
- Clean the temple and sprinkle Ganga water.
- Spread a red cloth on a stand and install the idol or picture of Lord Shiva and Mother Parvati.
- Anoint the Shivling with Ganga water and pure water.
- Offer kheer, fruits, halwa etc. to Lord Shiva.
- Offer 16 makeup items to Mother Parvati.
- Chant the mantras of Lord Shiva and Mother Parvati.
- Light a lamp and perform aarti.
