Mahoba News Today: The death of a newly married woman under suspicious circumstances in Mahoba created a stir. The body of the deceased was found hanging from a noose in her in-laws' house. In this case, the family members of the deceased beat up her husband and mother-in-law accusing them of murder. As soon as the information of the incident was received, the police reached the spot and took the body into custody and sent it for post-mortem.
This case is from Kidwai Nagar locality of Kabrai police station area of Mahoba district. Where 19-year-old newly married Kanchan died under suspicious circumstances in her in-laws' house, her body was found hanging from a noose.
What is the whole matter?
Jagannath Kushwaha, a resident of Urdana village in Hamirpur district, had married his daughter Kanchan to Deepu, a resident of Karbai, in a mass gathering 6 months ago. It is alleged that the deceased's husband Deepu had sold the bike received as dowry and was demanding Rs 50,000 from Kanchan's family.
It is alleged that Kanchan's in-laws often harassed her for demanding 50 thousand rupees. Her in-laws used to beat her for bringing dowry while her husband also used to taunt her. Her parents allege that Kanchan had a dispute with her in-laws over the demand of 50 thousand rupees yesterday, after which she was harassed a lot.
Troubled by this harassment, Kanchan wanted to go to her maternal home, but she was not allowed to go. Her maternal family claims that her in-laws murdered Kanchan and hung her body on a noose.
The deceased's parents beat up her husband and father-in-law.
According to the deceased's father, after getting information from her in-laws, he reached the spot in a hurry. After this, he took her to the community health center for treatment, from where the doctors sent her to the district hospital. After medical examination at the district hospital, the doctors declared her dead.
After Kanchan's death, her parents beat up her husband Deep and father-in-law who were present at the spot. A video of the beating of her husband and father-in-law has also surfaced. Her parents have filed a police complaint accusing her in-laws of murdering Kanchan. The deceased's family alleges that their daughter was murdered for dowry and her body was hung from a noose.
'There was a dispute over cooking'
Regarding these allegations, the deceased's husband Deepu said that there was no dispute over dowry. According to Deepu, his wife had a dispute with her mother over cooking and she got angry over this and hanged herself. He has called the allegations being made by the deceased's family baseless.
Police started investigation
As soon as the information of the incident was received, the police reached the spot, took the body in their custody, filled the Panchnama and then sent it for postmortem. Police says that after the postmortem report comes, further action will be taken on the basis of the facts that will come to light. According to the police, on receiving the complaint, a case will be registered and further legal action will be taken.
