Now you will not need to give photocopy of Aadhar card at hotels, shops, airports or any other place. The central government, which is trying to make the best use of digital revolution and provide convenience to the people, took a big step and launched a new Aadhar app on Tuesday.
With the help of this app, users will be able to digitally verify and share their Aadhaar details. This will eliminate the need to submit Aadhaar card or its photocopy.
Identity verification will be done by face
Face identity verification will be possible through the app. After launching the app, Union Electronics and IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that this step has been taken to make Aadhaar verification easier, faster and more secure.
"New Aadhaar app, Face ID authentication through mobile app. No physical card, no photocopy," Vaishnav said in a video message posted on X. Vaishnav said that now with just one tap, users can share only the required data, giving them full control over their personal information. One of the most prominent features of the app is Face ID authentication, which enhances security and makes verification seamless.
Aadhaar verification can be done by scanning the QR code
Aadhaar verification can now be done by simply scanning a QR code, just like UPI payments. Users can now digitally verify and share their Aadhaar details while ensuring their privacy. The app is currently in beta testing phase. It has been designed with strong privacy safeguards.
