Sanjay Raut on Amit Shah: Home Minister Amit Shah reached Raigad Fort on Saturday (April 12), where he paid obeisance to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and then addressed the public. During this, he also spoke on the Aurangzeb controversy. Amit Shah said that Aurangzeb used to call himself Alamgir, but he was defeated in Maharashtra and his tomb was built here. He said that Shivaji should not be limited to Maharashtra. His legacy is a source of inspiration for the entire country.

Now Uddhav Thackeray faction MP Sanjay Raut is claiming that Amit Shah had insulted Shivaji Maharaj in his speech. Not only this, he is demanding from the state Home Minister i.e. Devendra Fadnavis that an FIR should have been filed against Amit Shah.

In fact, on Sunday (April 13), Sanjay Raut said, "You see Amit Shah's speech. We say Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. This gentleman says Shivaji-Shivaji. This is an insult to him. An FIR should be filed against him for this insult. The order for this should be given by the Home Minister of Maharashtra himself."

'If someone else had said this...'
Sanjay Raut also claimed that if any other leader had said Shivaji like this, these people would have lodged an FIR. They would have said that Shivaji has been insulted and then would have put everyone in jail.

Attack on Eknath Shinde faction as well: Targeting
Eknath Shinde faction, Sanjay Raut said, "People from Shinde faction were also present there. This did not bother anybody. Home Minister Amit Shah is preaching about Shivaji Maharaj and calling him by his first name. He is calling Aurangzeb's grave as 'Samadhi'. What is going on here?"

'Called Aurangzeb's grave a Samadhi'
Sanjay Raut said, "BJP people had taken up the program of digging up Aurangzeb's grave in Maharashtra for the last three months. They said they will dig it up and will not let it remain, but they did nothing. We said that this grave is a living example of the war of Maharashtra's Maratha warrior Shivaji Maharaj. Aurangzeb's grave tells that we dug the graves of those who attacked Maharashtra here and buried them here. But BJP people were not ready to listen."

Shiv Sena UBT MP further said, "These people were in such a mood that they would dig up the grave. They did nothing. What we call a grave, the country's Home Minister Amit Shah gave it the status of a Samadhi. If it is a Samadhi, then why were you instigating riots for three months?" He said, "Isn't it an insult to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj to call Aurangzeb's grave a Samadhi? If such words had been used by a leader of any other party, BJP would have protested in the entire country."

'Government responsible for riots in Maharashtra' - Sanjay Raut
Not only this, Sanjay Raut made a big claim and said that the rioters in Maharashtra had the protection of the state government. He said, "The biggest mess happened in Maharashtra. The rioters had the support of the state's Home Minister and Chief Minister."
