Two days ago, Yusuf Pathan shared a picture on Instagram and wrote, "Cozy afternoon, nice tea and peaceful atmosphere. Enjoying these moments." But his post started to irritate the public. People started questioning the timing of the post.

BJP national spokesperson Shahzad Poonawala shared a video on Twitter. He said that Bengal is burning. Mamata Banerjee's government is fully involved in this. State-protected violence is being promoted. The police is silent.
He further said that targeted violence is happening against Hindus. Vehicles are being burnt. So far three people have been killed. Meanwhile, TMC MP Yusuf Pathan is sipping tea. Bengal is burning. He is drinking tea. He further said that the High Court also had to say that we cannot sit with our eyes closed. Shahzad accused Mamata Banerjee of appeasement.
In the Lok Sabha elections 2024, Yusuf Pathan defeated veteran Congress leader and five-time MP Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury from Baharampur Lok Sabha seat. According to the information, the areas of Murshidabad where violence broke out are not part of Yusuf Pathan's constituency. But the area around it comes under his constituency.

Different areas of Murshidabad district fall in Baharampur, Jangipur and Malda South parliamentary constituencies. Violence has erupted in Dhule, Samserganj and Suti. Suti Jangipur and Dhule and Samserganj are part of Malda South Lok Sabha constituency. Jangipur seat is occupied by TMC. Khalilur Rahman is the MP from here. Congress's Ishan Khan Chaudhary is the MP from Malda South.
