News Topical, Digital Desk : Trekker Sharanya spent four days and three nights alone amidst a dense rain-soaked forest, undulating mountains, and a deep silence. This story is not just about getting lost, but a living example of courage, perseverance, and hope.

Sharanya, a 36-year-old IT professional from Kerala, had gone to the Tadiandamol Hills in Karnataka with her 10-member trekking group. While descending, they took a different route, which inadvertently led them deeper into the forest. Realizing they had lost their way, they immediately called their homestay to report their situation. This was their last contact, as their mobile phone went dead shortly thereafter.

Did not get food for four days

Now they had no food or any means of communication. They survived by drinking water from a small stream flowing nearby. Every evening, as darkness fell, the forest would glow with the light of fireflies, as if nature itself was cheering them on. The moonlight and starry sky brought a unique peace to their loneliness.

Sharanya did not lose courage

Despite the fear and uncertainty, Sharnya remained courageous. She took refuge on rocks to protect herself from wild animals and stayed in open areas so that rescue teams could find her. After four days of continuous searching, locals finally found her.

When the rescue team reached her, she emerged calm, composed, and smiling. While her family returned home with tears of relief, Sharnya's heart was filled not with fear but with even stronger courage. This experience became not just a struggle for her, but a new story of self-confidence and connection with nature.
