Sambhal Violence Update: Amid the Sambhal violence, a delegation of Samajwadi Party met the accused in Moradabad jail on Monday. After which the Yogi government has taken action against the Moradabad jail administration. In this case, District Jail's Jailor PP Singh and Deputy Jailor Vikram Singh Yadav have been suspended. Also, a letter has been written to the government for action against the jail superintendent. 

According to sources, this action has been taken in the case of SP leaders meeting the accused of Sambhal violence. Under this, Moradabad jailor PP Singh and deputy jailor Vikram Singh Yadav were suspended. The SP delegation met the accused in the jail on Monday and tried to know their problems. 

Meeting without following jail manual
It is claimed that local leaders of Samajwadi Party had gone to meet the accused arrested in Sambhal violence on Monday without following jail manual. These included former SP MP ST Hasan, SP MLA Nawabjan, Chaudhary Samarpal Singh and other local leaders. It is alleged that some leaders along with former MP and MLA had met the accused of violence without a slip. 

There is no district jail in Sambhal. In such a situation, the accused of Sambhal violence have been kept in Moradabad jail. According to the rules, MPs and MLAs get special rights to meet the prisoners lodged in the jail of their district. Under which these leaders met them, but other leaders along with them also met the accused without a slip. 

Violence broke out in Sambhal on 24 November over the mosque survey, in which four people died. Politics is also being done fiercely on this issue. SP and Congress leaders are adamant on going to Sambhal. But, the administration has not given permission for this till now. On the orders of the District Magistrate, the entry of outsiders in Sambhal has been banned till 10 December.
