New Delhi: Attacking Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Congress on Monday alleged that it was the Prime Minister who suppressed the voice of the country for 10 years and that is why people punished him in the Lok Sabha elections. Congress media and publicity cell head Pawan Khera said that the person who strangled the country and suppressed its voice for 10 years looked very weak and was seen shedding tears when the opposition raised its voice today.
Modi is not the PM of a majority government
Kheda said in the X post, 'He said that the opposition suppressed the voice of the Prime Minister for two and a half hours. It is important to remind Prime Minister Modi that the whole country was suffocating in his unjust rule for the last 10 years, for which the public has punished him.' Kheda said, 'Prime Minister Modi has forgotten that he is not the Prime Minister of a majority government, but the Prime Minister of one-third of the NDA government running with the support of two parties.'
The word Modi Government should be avoided
The Congress leader said that he should also refrain from using the term Modi government and prove himself to be democratic. Referring to the NEET case, Kheda said, "It would be appropriate to remind Prime Minister Narendra Modi that when he was giving this speech, the Supreme Court was hearing the case of 32 lakh students of the country against suppression of their voice and injustice done to them by his government."
Every hour 19 farmers and labourers are committing suicide
Kheda said, "When you were giving a speech full of arrogance and lies, it is important to tell you that more than 15 Agniveers of the country were forced to commit suicide with the dream of sacrificing their lives for the country in their hearts." The Congress leader claimed that every hour in the country, 19 farmers and laborers are forced to commit suicide by hanging.
It is important to listen to questions related to problems
Kheda said, "You are right, Prime Minister, Parliament is for the country. It is not the court of any king. That is why the opposition is forced to raise the voice and pain of the youth, farmers, soldiers, laborers, women, backward, deprived, tribals and poor in the Parliament. It is our parliamentary duty to repeatedly interrupt and stop you from raising the voice of the country. You should also understand that leaving everything aside, it is important to listen to the questions related to the immediate needs and problems of the country."
Kheda said- run the country's parliament
Kheda further said, "The country has now given you a third chance to say what you want to say. Run the country's parliament, don't make it Senegal's royal court." Congress Deputy Leader in Lok Sabha Gaurav Gogoi said that the issue of NEET was listed as the second topic in Monday's Question Hour, but Modi got up and left before that.
What did Gaurav Gogoi say?
Gaurav Gogoi said outside Parliament, "Why did he go? Was it not his responsibility to answer on this issue? When we demanded the resignation of the Education Minister, he (Dharmendra Pradhan) arrogantly said that when he has been appointed as the Education Minister by Prime Minister Modi, why would he resign." Congress Whip in Lok Sabha Manikam Tagore said that the Prime Minister should also adopt what he preaches by doing positive work. He says something else outside and does something else inside the House.
