Basti. BSP supremo Mayawati held a public meeting in support of candidates from the three districts of Basti division in GIC ground on Saturday. She said that the Supreme Court has exposed the extortion of BJP, Congress and other parties. All are trapped in the electoral bond case. BSP is the only party in the whole country which has not taken any donation from any rich people. All other parties are steeped in corruption.

It is said that BJP and other parties run their organization and contest elections only with the financial support of rich people. All of them have taken crores and billions of rupees from the country's rich people through bonds. It is not mentioned anywhere in that report that BSP has taken even a single rupee from any capitalist. From this it is clear that our party does not take money from rich people to run the organization and contest elections in the entire country. Rather, it runs the organization by collecting small amounts of money from the party's membership fee and by collecting money at the time of elections.

BSP supremo said that Dalits, backward and minorities are being exploited in the central government. The government is getting work done from private companies through capitalists but reservation is not being given attention in private sector jobs. The condition of the poor section among the upper castes is not good. In the state also, whether it is the SP government or the BJP government, both the governments have made the upper castes unhappy. In that too, Brahmins have been exploited the most. In both the governments, only the Samridhi people among the upper castes have been satisfied. We have respected everyone by giving tickets to people from every section.

Mayawati said that due to casteist, capitalist, narrow-minded, communal and hateful policies, and the difference between their words and actions, it seems that BJP is not going to return to power at the Centre. The people of the country have understood their drama and jumlabaazi. One-fourth of their promises, including false promises like 'achche din', did not get any ground reality. Most of their time was spent in enriching their favourite capitalists and rich people and protecting them at every level.
