Now after this incident, Jagadguru Swami Rambhadracharya has made a special appeal to the devotees who have come to Maha Kumbh.

What did Rambhadracharya say?

Jagadguru Swami Rambhadracharya has appealed to the devotees who have come to Maha Kumbh to give up their insistence on taking bath only in Sangam. Jagadguru Swami Rambhadracharya Ji said- "I appeal to all the devotees that because there is a huge crowd in Prayagraj today, they should not insist on taking a holy dip only at Sangam Ghat. Right now they should not leave their camps and look for their safety."

Devkinandan Thakur also said

Spiritual guru Devkinandan Thakur has also given a statement regarding the stampede in Prayagraj Maha Kumbh. He said- "I did not go to Sangam Ghat because there is a huge crowd there... I appeal to the people not to insist on bathing only at Sangam Ghat. The entire Ganga and Yamuna rivers are still 'Amrit'."

PM Modi spoke to CM Yogi

According to the information, PM Narendra Modi has also spoken to Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath after the stampede-like situation at Sangam during the Mauni Amavasya celebrations at the Maha Kumbh Mela. PM Modi has given instructions to provide immediate assistance to the injured. At the same time, Union Home Minister Amit Shah has also spoken to CM Yogi. He also assured CM Yogi of full support from the Center.
