Mahakumbh 2025: Lakhs of devotees are reaching Prayagraj every day during the Mahakumbh. Meanwhile, President Draupadi Murmu will also take a dip in the Mahakumbh of Prayagraj on Monday. This information was given in an official statement issued on Sunday. According to the statement, President Draupadi Murmu will stay in Prayagraj for more than eight hours. During this, along with bathing in Sangam, she will visit Akshayvat and Bade Hanuman Temple. During this, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will also be present. In view of the President's visit, security arrangements have been tightened in Prayagraj. The statement issued said that the President will reach Sangam Nose in the morning and take a dip in the Triveni Sangam. This will be a historic moment for the first citizen of the country to take a dip in the Sangam. 

Akshayvat will also be worshipped

After this, President Draupadi Murmu will visit and worship Akshayvat to further strengthen religious faith. In Sanatan culture, Akshayvat is considered a symbol of immortality. It is an important place of Hinduism, whose importance is also described in the Puranas. Apart from this, she will also visit Bade Hanuman Mandir and pray for the happiness and prosperity of the countrymen. According to the statement, the President will support the initiative of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to connect religious events with modern India and the digital age. 

Will leave for Delhi in the evening

President Draupadi Murmu will visit the Digital Maha Kumbh Experience Center, in which detailed information about the Maha Kumbh Mela is being made available through technical means. It has been set up here to enable devotees from the country and abroad to experience this wonderful event more closely. The President will leave Prayagraj for New Delhi at 5:45 pm. This visit of the President will not only be historic for Prayagraj, but will also be an inspirational moment for devotees across the country. Her presence will give a new height to the religious, cultural and spiritual significance of the Maha Kumbh.
