Mahakumbh 2025: Even before the formal start of Mahakumbh, the Central Hospital established in Mahakumbh Nagar has started its services. In this sequence, on Monday, for the second consecutive day, a woman's delivery was completed in the hospital. The special thing is that the woman has given birth to a girl, who is the first baby girl born in the hospital during Mahakumbh. For this reason, with the consent of the hospital and the family, the girl has been named 'Ganga'. 

The birth of this baby girl was done efficiently by the team of doctors under the leadership of Dr. Gaurav Dubey. Earlier on Sunday, Dr. Dubey's team delivered the first baby boy in Mahakumbh, who was named 'Kumbh'. Dr. Gaurav Dubey, the nodal medical establishment at the Central Hospital of Mahakumbh Nagar, said that the first girl was born in the Central Hospital on Monday. The team of Dr. Gaurav along with Dr. Pramila and Dr. Ponshi completed the safe delivery of the girl at 12.08 pm.

What did the doctor say?
He told that Shiv Kumari and Rajesh, residents of Banda district, are considering the girl born in Maha Kumbh as a blessing of Maa Ganga. That is why the girl has been named 'Ganga'. According to Dr. Gaurav Dubey, the weight of the girl has been measured to be 2.8 kg. He told that both the mother and the child are healthy and both are being taken good care of in the hospital. Earlier, a boy was also born in the hospital on Sunday evening, which was the first delivery in Maha Kumbh.

He told that on Sunday, 20-year-old woman Sonam, resident of Kaushambi, was blessed with a son. This delivery was conducted by Dr. Nupur and Dr. Vartika under the leadership of Dr. Gaurav in Central Hospital. Mother and son are completely healthy. On Sunday, 20-year-old Sonam arrived with her husband Raja. This family has come to the Maha Kumbh Mela area in search of work. Sonam was having severe labor pain when she was brought to the hospital. The female doctors examined her and admitted her.

Hospital running for many days
Keeping in view the arrival of crores of people in Maha Kumbh, Yogi government has made special arrangements for health facilities. A 100-bed Central Hospital has been built in the Central Hospital located at Parade in the fair area and has been operational for many days. Arrangements have been made in the Central Hospital of Maha Kumbh from OPD to general ward to delivery center and ICU. A large number of people have also started getting treated in it. In this sequence, the hospital has also succeeded in conducting two deliveries so far.
