The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has launched a special webpage. On this page, people will get every weather update related to the Maha Kumbh to be held in Prayagraj. Manish Ranalkar, Director of the India Meteorological Department, gave this information on Friday.

 

The Maha Kumbh, which is held once in 12 years, will run from January 13 to February 26. The main bathing will take place on January 14 on Makar Sankranti, January 29 on Mauni Amavasya and February 3 on Basant Panchami.

 

Weather information will be available every 15 minutes

Manish said that for the upcoming Maha Kumbh Mela, IMD has launched a special webpage on Friday. Here weather information will be available every 15 minutes. Weather forecast will also be released on the webpage twice a day.

 

Two digital displays were also installed in the Maha Kumbh district

 

Ranalkar said that Mahakumbh has been set up as a temporary district. Manish Ranalkar said that Mahakumbh has been made a temporary district.IMD has set up three new AWS in the district. Weather updates from Mahakumbh district will be available on the webpage every 15 minutes. Two digital displays have also been installed in the district. Here people will get weather information in real time.

 

 

Dense fog alert in UP

According to the weather department forecast, dense fog and cold day conditions are likely to persist in some places of northwest and central India for the next 2 days. A warning has been issued for dense fog in the late night and morning in some places of Uttar Pradesh on January 3 and 4. Dense fog is also expected in Haryana, Punjab, Delhi and Chandigarh for the next two days.

 

Rain warning in these areas

According to the Meteorological Department, due to the western disturbance, there is a possibility of rain in the western Himalayan region till January 7 and in the plains of North West India on January 5 and 6. At the same time, a warning of heavy rain and snowfall has been issued in Jammu and Kashmir on January 4 and 5.

 

 

In Northwest India, the minimum temperature is likely to increase by 2-3 degrees Celsius in the next 4 days. After this, the temperature is likely to fall by 2-4 degrees Celsius. There will be no significant change in the minimum temperature in East India in the next 24 hours. But there is a possibility of an increase of 2-3 degrees Celsius in the next 2-3 days. In West India, the minimum temperature is expected to remain unchanged for the next 5 days. Except Gujarat, there will be no significant change in the next 3 days.
