People from all over the world have participated in this fair full of sacrifice and penance, among which there is a long list of foreign devotees along with the country. It is held every 12 years.
At the same time, in this fair (Mahakumbh Tradition) everyone's eyes are on the Aghori and Naga Sadhu, because everyone wants to know about their lifestyle, so let us know some important things about their life here.
Whom do Aghori and Naga Sadhus worship? (Who Do Aghori And Naga Sadhus Worship?)
Let us tell you that both Naga Sadhus and Aghoris are great devotees of Lord Shiva. However, the worship rules of Aghoris are a little different and scary. They live in crematoriums and apply crematorium ashes on their bodies, while Naga Sadhus are associated with Akharas.
Apart from this, they live in the Himalayas or in some secluded place. Naga Sadhus do not wear clothes to cover their body. They cover their body with the ashes of havan.
Difference between Aghori and Naga Sadhu
The Guru of Aghori saints is Lord Dattatreya, who is considered to be the incarnation of Shiva, Vishnu and Brahma. Aghoris stay away from common traditions and remain engaged in understanding the mysteries of life and death. They do not have much to do with the society like Naga Sadhus, while the main objective of Naga Sadhus is to protect religion and to be proficient in the knowledge of scriptures.
