Meanwhile, Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari will go to Jalore today. She will meet the senior citizens of the area at the general meeting and enlightenment conference. She will address the general meeting organized in support of Lok Sabha candidate Lumbaram Chaudhary in Bagra town at noon.

Vaibhav Gehlot had contested the Lok Sabha elections from Jodhpur in the year 2019, in which he was defeated by Gajendra Singh Shekhawat by 2,74,440 votes. After the crushing defeat of three and a quarter lakh votes, Congress could not gamble on him again in Jodhpur. This is the main reason why he has been made the candidate from Jalore in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
