Liquor Ban In MP: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has given a big statement in Ujjain regarding liquor ban. He said that the government is taking steps to ban liquor in religious cities. It is expected that liquor will be banned in many religious cities of Madhya Pradesh from April 1.

Mohan Yadav reached Ujjain on Tuesday (21 January). He reached the statue of Amar Shaheed Hemu Kalani and offered flowers on the occasion of Balidan Diwas. During this, while addressing the people, he said that it is very important to remember the freedom fighters.

Mohan Yadav said, "Many freedom fighters sacrificed their lives for the independence of the country. Hemu Kalani was also among them. He comes every year on Balidan Diwas to garland the statue of Hemu Kalani."

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav also spoke to the media during this time. He said, "The government is moving forward towards prohibition of liquor in the religious cities of Madhya Pradesh. Liquor will be banned in the religious cities of Madhya Pradesh in the coming time."

Let us tell you that the new liquor policy comes into effect from April 1. Due to this, it is expected that from April 1, liquor will stop being available in the religious cities of Madhya Pradesh. 

Alcohol can be banned in these cities
. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has hinted at alcohol ban in religious cities. Along with Ujjain, Omkareshwar, Datia, Amarkantak, Chitrakoot, Sanchi, Khajuraho etc. can be included in this.
